The training work area collaborates with GBIF Participants to understand their needs in terms of capacity and then to define and implement ambitious training plans to fill those gaps. This includes not only the production of traditional learning materials and the organization of face-to-face training, but also the development of an e-learning suite that will provide a comprehensive, easily accessible, customisable and user-friendly set of training materials. The material is available in several languages and will allow both online learning and local training events.
