The Participant Node Managers Committee is a forum for sharing information about the status and best practices of Participants' nodes. It serves as an advisory committee that makes recommendations to the Governing Board, the Executive Committee, the Science Committee and the Secretariat concerning the planning and implementation of the GBIF Strategic Plans and Work Programme.
The Nodes Committee has a Chair and two Vice-Chairs who are elected by the Governing Board.

Nodes Committee Meetings
The Nodes Committee meets at regional and global meetings. Information about the regional activities is available here.
The next global meeting of the Nodes Committee will take place in 2013, back-to-back with the 20th Meeting of the GBIF Governing Board.
