ORC Help - Search Interface

The different search tabs allow users to perform queries on the resources system. Three main options are available:

Simple search

The SIMPLE SEARCH interface works as any internet search engine. Just enter one or several words and the search will be performed over a selection of resources most in demand.

Advance search

The ADVANCED SEARCH interface allows more precision in your search: define the language, type of resource and/or a specific topic in the form of a keyword. This interface also allows you to perform your search on all the resources registered in the system.

Events search

The EVENTS SEARCH interface allows convenient access to the training events section of the GBIF Website. Tighter integration between the resources and events sections is planned for the next version of the GBIF Online Resource Centre.
