About the GBIF Online Resource Centre
The GBIF Online Resource Centre (ORC) is a global online service that provides easy access to documents, best practices, tools and links relevant for GBIF Participants and their Biodiversity Information Facilities. This new system allows advanced functionality such as:
- Support for diverse resource types
- Wide thematic scope
- Different ways of accessing resources
- Enabling community contributions
- Different levels of resource access
- Multilanguage support
Participate in the development!
Users are encouraged to take an active role and contribute to improve the system and increase its contents. This can be done by:
- Providing suggestions about the system functionality through the ORC GBIF Community Site group;
- Commenting and rating the resources according to your own experience;
- Sharing resources with others, using your favourite method: email, Twitter™, Facebook™, etc.
- Contributing with your own resources, tools, best practices, publications, training materials, etc.
