Abstract: SEP-CEPDEC was established in 2006 by the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement and the GBIF Secretariat as a three-year collaboration aimed at facilitating the access and use of biodiversity data among the 22 francophone countries in Africa and Asia involved in Sud Expert Plantes (SEP), particularly within the framework of the UN Millennium Development Goals.
