Resource details [More..]

Author(s): Remsen D.P., Döring, M, Robertson, T.
Publisher(s): GBIF Secretariat, 2011
Target audience: Data managers and biologists publishing data through GBIF
Abstract: Darwin Core Archives can be created without installing any dedicated software. This document targets data managers who are familiar with the dataset to be published and are comfortable working with their data management system. It assumes that your data are already in, or can easily generate, a CSV/Tab text file, or are in one of the supported relational database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase). It assumes you do have access to a web server and that you don’t wish to host an IPT instance.
