Abstract: Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A) is an internationally recognised biodiversity informatics data
standard that simplifies the publication of biodiversity data. It is based on Darwin Core, a
standard developed and maintained by the Biodiversity Information Standards group. This document describes the format and presents options for its creation and publication within the GBIF network
