As the current GBIF MOU will expire end-2011 the Governing Board have decided to start preparing two background reports for assisting with the signature process of the next (post-2011) GBIF MOU:

• An independent Review of the implementation of the GBIF Strategic Plan 2007-2011; and

• A ‘Forward Look’ evaluating possible future priorities for GBIF post-2011 for a new five year or longer period.

Both reports will be available prior to, and presented at the GBIF Governing Board in October 2010.
