The Budget Committee is responsible for oversight of all financial issues pertaining to the operations of GBIF and oversees the audit of the annual accounts submitted to the Governing Board by the external auditing company. The Budget Committee makes recommendations to the Governing Board, the Executive Committee and the GBIF Secretariat on financial matters.
