This workshop was organized during the mentoring project between Spain, the Netherlands and Colombia. The first day of that workshop was related to biodiversity data online publication and the second and third days covered biodiversity data management.
The aim of this workshop was to present the main advantages of biodiversity informatics management in a national and international context, encouraging participants to share data through the SiB and GBIF networks, training them in the implementation and use of technological tools for data administration, and strengthening their capacity to use data in a better way and share data worldwide.
