Workshop on Biodiversity Metadata Management in Latin America

This workshop is organised by the Iberoamerican Biodiversity Information Platform (PIIB) and plans to create regional capacity in Latin America in the area of biodiversity metadata and to reinforce collaboration. The objective is to promote the creation, development, access and interoperability of metadata catalogues.
The ultimate aim is to improve data and information management that can efficiently support research, education and decision making related to the biological diversity knowledge, conservation and sustainable development.
