CEPDEC-SEP Second Training Workshop - Uses of Biodiversity Data

The SEP-CEPDEC project includes two main training events: a first course about biodiversity data digitisation and publication (already held in four different locations) and a second course on the retrieval and use of such data.
This second event is focused on giving the participants an overview of the different ways to access GBIF-mediated data (highlighting the role of the GBIF Data Portal), and the different possible uses of such data. As an example of biodiversity data analysis, an introduction to ecological niche modelling techniques will be part of the course.
