
The Google Code Sites (or project repositories) are collaborative environments for managing software and technical projects related to source code. They have associated wikis and file repositories where detailed information about the project can be found.
Target audience: GBIF Community members with a technical background.
Content allowed: GBIF-developed tools source code and binaries, additional open-source tools required to inplement GBIF tools and services, technical documentation, user manuals.
Not suitable for: publication-ready webpages, final documents, collaborative projects not tied to software source code.
Who can contribute: the GBIF Secretariat and project collaborators.
