Doctoral Research Fellow in Biology, Oslo

The Natural History Museum, University of Oslo, Norway, which hosts the GBIF national node, is offering a 4-year PhD position for a project entitled 'Thermophilous vascular plants: data quality, distributional constraints and responses to climate change'.

Ebbe Nielsen Prize

The Ebbe Nielsen Prize is awarded yearly to a researcher who is combining biosystematics and biodiveristy informatics research in an exciting and novel way.

Nominations for the 2013 award are now closed.

Young Researchers Award

The main objective of the Young Researchers Award (YRA) is to foster innovative research and discovery in biodiversity informatics by graduate students in masters and doctorate programs at universities in countries participating in the GBIF network.
