CIRCA: Latest version.

Q: How can I construct a URL that always points to the latest version of a document?

A: It is possible to refer to the latest version of a library document by omitting the part of the URL after the last slash.

Example:

Remove "_EN_0.4.2_&a=i" from the following URL.

http://circa.gbif.net/Public/irc/gbif/ict/library?l=/gbif_documentation/documentmanagementguidel/_EN_0.4.2_&a=i

becomes

http://circa.gbif.net/Public/irc/gbif/ict/library?l=/gbif_documentation/documentmanagementguidel/

This version 0.4.2 of the sample document shown here is not the latest one. Clicking on the second URL above, you will be forwarded to the version that has the biggest number.
