The GBIF Secretariat received Luxembourg's copy of the Memorandum of Understanding, signed on 23 April by the Director of the National Museum of Natural History, on 28 April 2008. The Governing Board was notified on 6 May that Luxembourg is officially an Associate Participant of GBIF as of the receipt of the signed MOU.
