KBIF (Korean Biodiversity Information Facility) has prepared the Korean translation of three documents written by Arthur Chapman for GBIF, in order to share his ideas with both data providers and data users in the Korean biodiversity community and public. KBIF has done this in the hope that it will help to increase understanding of biodiversity data sharing issues in Korea.

KBIF hopes that other GBIF Nodes will also translate the documents into their languages.

Acknowledgement of effort goes to staff in KBIF, KISTI, KOBIC, NSM and the Korean government Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). Special thanks also goes to Arthur Chapman.

The Korean versions of the documents are available by clicking these links:

Uses of Primary Species-Occurrence Data (1.54 Mb PDF)

Principles of Data Quality (0.64 Mb PDF)

Principles and Methods of Data Cleaning (2.12 Mb PDF)
