The Consortium of European Taxonomic Facilities (CETAF)is now officially an organisational Associate Participant in GBIF.

The GBIF Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on behalf of CETAF by Prof. Stefan Claesson on 14 June 2007. The MOU was received by the GBIF Secretariat on 18 June, and CETAF is officially a Participant as of that date. On behalf of the Governing Board, Hugo von Linstow, Acting Executive Secretary, welcomed CETAF into GBIF activities.
