Transport by air
You can reach Arusha, Tanzania via:
Kilimanjaro – Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) lies east of Arusha Town about 40 Km away. It is served by International daily flights of KLM from Amsterdam; Kenya Airways from Nairobi; Air Tanzania from Johanesburg; Ethiopia Airlines from Addis Ababa. National daily flights operating to and from KIA include Air Tanzania and Precision Air from Dar es Salaam.
Dar es Salaam – J.K. Nyerere Airport in Dar es Salaam is 600 Km south of Arusha. It serviced with Daily International flights of Emirates from Dubai; British Airways from London; Qutar Air from Doha; South African Airway from Johanesburg; Ethiopia Airlines from Addis Ababa; Swiss Airline from Zurich; Kenya Airways from Nairobi.
From Dar es Salaam one has to connect on local flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Precision Air also flies to Arusha Airport from Dar es Salaam.
Nairobi – Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is 400 Km North of Arusha in Kenya. It is serviced by all major airlines. From here one can travel by road to Arusha using daily shuttle bus service which cross the border – post of Tanzania and Kenya at Namanga.
Transfer to and from airport to hotels
The secretariat has arranged for buses to pick delegates on arrival and drop them at the airport after the conference.
Transportation to and from meeting venue
Buses will be available from hotels to conference venue and back.
Public transportation
The Conference is taking place on a walk distance from both hotels. Buses will be available for participants. Taxis are also available at reasonable rates.
