Spain is pleased to host the Extraordinary Meeting of the Governing Board (GB12.5) of the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF).

The meeting will take place on 15-16 June 2006 in Madrid. The venue is the the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid.

GBIF Governing Board delegations will please indicate their participation in the meeting events by filling in the on-line registration form provided on this website.

It is very important that you:

• Make a hotel reservation as soon as possible.
• Apply for a visa at least 4 weeks prior to the meeting if that is required for your country.
