Welcome to GBIF GB12 (post-meeting information)
South Africa, represented by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) is pleased to host the 12th meeting of the Governing Board (GB12) of the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF).
This meeting is open only to official delegates of the Governing Board, and persons specifically invited by GBIF to observe the meeting.
The Governing Board meeting, GBIF committees, Ebbe Nielson Prize Ceremony, Nodes Committee meeting and a high level Science Symposium will take place at the Waterfront, Cape Town from the 02 – 07 April 2006.
The meeting venues are the BMW Pavilion and Table Bay Hotel at the Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront.

GBIF Governing Board delegations, members of GBIF Nodes and all relevant attendees must indicate their participation in these events by
filling in the on-line registration form provided on this website.
Please note that transport to and from hotels to meetings and after-hour events has been
provided for by the hosts at no cost.
